SSE Contracting is working in partnership with Ealing Council to replace and maintain 14,783 streetlights, illuminated signs and bollards across the London borough of Ealing.

Part of the Street Lighting PFI (Private Finance Initiative) includes the Ealing Heritage Quarter, which involves the existing Edwardian columns being restored to their original condition and antique style lanterns fitted.

Since acquiring the contract in March 2008 we have increase the percentage of lights on in Ealing from 78% to 99.68%.

SSE Contracting work closely with the council to consistently meet the challenging six monthly milestones and to date we have received a lot of positive feed back from both local residents and Ealing Council.
